I trained as a supervisor for both groups and Individuals in 2007. I work with psychotherapists, counsellors, health care professionals, social workers or indeed anyone wanting space to reflect on their working life and how this affects their personal life goals within the context of a supportive, ethical and developmental framework. I offer the appropriate balance of challenge, support and ethical accountability whether you are a trainee, newly qualified, working towards accreditation or an experienced practitioner. I also aim to provide a creative play space where it is safe to explore ideas, theories and ways of working. An opportunity to celebrate what has gone well as well as somewhere you can share what has been difficult and be supported to find a way forward. I see supervision as collaborative not directive and as in counselling it is the relationship between supervisor and supervisee that determines the quality of development that takes place. I maintain close contact with training organisations as a placement provider and am familiar with what is required in order to support trainees on their journey to qualification. I also work with counsellors seeking accreditation to enable them to prepare their application.
Supervision sessions are £70 per hour.
